Intelligence, technology, and capabilities for a contested space domain.
Direwolf Space Systems is a U.S. space intelligence and defense technology company providing advanced analysis, threat intelligence, training, and technology solutions for the national security and commercial space communities.
The company
Built to answer the questions the space domain now demands.
Direwolf Space Systems begins where most space questions actually start: with a decision-maker who needs to understand what a foreign program can do, what a spacecraft just did, or what a signal in the environment means for a mission.
We help organizations understand the rapidly evolving space domain through foreign space capability assessments, space threat intelligence, orbital and spacecraft activity analysis, RF and PNT threat analysis, and customized intelligence support.
The company is deliberately named Space Systems rather than consulting. Intelligence is the core business today. It is also the foundation for the software, sensors, and advanced systems Direwolf is building toward, because the problems customers bring to an analyst are the problems worth building technology to solve.
Mission
Our mission is to provide the intelligence, technology, and capabilities needed to understand emerging threats, protect critical space systems, and maintain awareness in an increasingly contested space domain. Direwolf Space Systems mission statement
At a glance
Four capability areas
The first is the core business today. The second and third extend that analytic work into orbital activity and space security threats. The fourth is the research and development direction the company is building toward.
Space Intelligence
Foreign space capability assessments, military space program analysis, emerging technology assessments, counterspace and threat analysis, custom RFIs, executive briefings, and tailored research.
Core business 02Space Domain Awareness
Continuous analysis of spacecraft behavior, orbital activity, launches, constellations, and unusual or foreign spacecraft activity, with an intelligence layer on top of the orbital and technical data.
Activity analysis 03Space Security
Intelligence and analysis on space cyber threats, ground-system and mission-infrastructure security, GPS, GNSS and PNT threats, RF interference, and jamming and spoofing.
Threat analysis 04Advanced Systems
The future research and development arm: AI-enabled intelligence software, space analytics, RF and PNT technology, cybersecurity products, and sensors, developed as customer problems define the need.
Building towardThe differentiator
Beyond the dot on the map
Raw tracking data reports that an object moved. It does not say why the movement matters, which foreign program the object belongs to, or what should be watched next. Direwolf is not trying to be another satellite-tracking company. The differentiator is the intelligence layer on top of orbital and technical data.
Satellite X moved.
Satellite X maneuvered. Here is why it matters, which foreign program it belongs to, what similar spacecraft have done previously, what capabilities may be involved, and what we recommend watching next.
An outsourced space intelligence cell
Recurring intelligence, built around your requirements.
Most organizations that depend on space cannot justify maintaining an internal intelligence organization. Direwolf is positioned to serve as that cell: a recurring Space Threat Intelligence Report, delivered weekly or monthly, covering foreign military-space developments, launches, significant satellite activity, counterspace developments, RF and GPS interference, cyber developments, and the new technologies and programs a customer cares about.
Customers with more specific needs provide their own Priority Intelligence Requirements and watch requirements. Direwolf monitors against them and reports what matters.
Training and exercises
A working understanding of the threat environment, then decisions under pressure.
Three initial courses give staff and leadership the fundamentals. Tabletop exercises put that understanding to the test with simulated space and cyber incidents that require decisions.
Space Threat Fundamentals
The threat environment in orbit and on the ground: what counterspace, RF interference, PNT disruption, and cyber threats to space systems look like, and why they matter to a mission.
Foreign Space Capabilities
How foreign military and dual-use space programs are organized, what they field, and how to read their activity. Grounded in the same tradecraft used in Direwolf assessments.
Commercial Space Awareness
For operators and executives whose business depends on space: the activity, actors, and interference that can affect commercial missions, and what to watch.
Tabletop exercises
Simulated incidents. Real decisions.
Exercises begin as focused sessions of two to four hours built around simulated space and cyber incidents and the decisions they force. They are designed to grow into multi-day events with orbital events, intelligence injects, cyberattacks, GPS disruption, jamming and spoofing, satellite anomalies, adversary activity, executive decision-making, and after-action reporting.
